September

The first 8 days of this month were posters that I had created with photocoied type that I cut and glued down. The rest are a combination of computer output, silkscreen and some more photocopies for the week of September 11th.

For that week I wanted to try to speak to the weight of the people that were lost on that day. I used transparencies because I am sure that someday these names will be careful chiseled into a monument (which they should); however, this year, I felt that they should be represented as moving rather than solid since the loss of their lives is still sinking in.
